“It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop” – Confucius

During this time of lock down, we are forced to stop. We might be confronted with ourselves or our story. We might be confronted with loneliness, anger, anxiety or depression. I am certain that many people even feel like they are taking steps back from the progress they have made. Today I want to remind you to take some of the pressure off yourself. Mountains are not conquered by sprinting to the top. Mountains are conquered by placing one foot in front of the other and then doing it again. As long as you do not stop, you will get there, no matter how long it takes.

So when you are having a tough day or it seems like you are going nowhere, just remember that even the smallest victory is a step closer to getting where you want to go. And if you need to rest today in order to continue tomorrow, that is OK too.
