The Oasis Team have very literally changed the lives of some of my clients.  The quality of all forms of care is both extremely high and individualised to the client’s needs. Oasis has always done an amazing job with any of my clients that require residential treatment. They have also been remarkable in their success in helping turn round the lives of some of the those with more deep rooted issues including serial relapsers.

With South Africa’s borders closed during the Covid19 pandemic (until October 2020) it was not possible to get any of my clients to Oasis physically despite best efforts. Having said that, the work the team has done via video and all other possible form of communication has been quite remarkable. They developed a specific programme for each of my clients.

They have kept me abreast of any developments and helped enormously. The team at Oasis is second to none and I will, without doubt, continue to refer my clients for treatment there.

A significant part of my work is concerned with assessing and referring people for addiction treatment around the world. I have been in the field for 25 years and have worked in, managed and helped set up treatment centres in different contexts and cultures. As a direct result of my experience, I believe I know what constitutes an effective facility. I choose centres where I know my clients are going have the best chance to get well, and have a positive experience of early recovery. I have to say that in this regard I have become quite choosy, and much prefer to either visit the centre or have a personal relationship with the owners. And so it is with much pleasure that I thoroughly recommend Oasis as one of the few centres across the world to which I am happy to send my clients.

Environment, expertise and flexibility are all first class at Oasis. Their ability and willingness to work with dual diagnosis and other concurrent difficulties is also notable, plus they offer excellent value for money.
